This group is open to all deviants! You don't have to be a member. Members can submit 2 Memes per week. Non-members can submit 1 Meme per month. Non-members' submissions expire faster than members. Can I apply for Contributor status?
No. Member Status Only. We are currently not seeking for any Contributors at this time. Where's the meme I submitted?! I've been waiting for days, weeks, months!?Please, please be patient.
If you didn't notice, this is a very LARGE Group with MANY
members. We receive pages of meme submissions every day. We go through all of them thoroughly. Please read this section for more details on how we deal with Memes: Group Rules My meme "Expired", yo! What does that mean?
"Expire" status means we did not get to your meme in time to either approve or decline. If this happens, do not panic. Just resend the meme if this happens. What category do I place memes in for my gallery?
To submit a meme in your gallery, the category is: deviantART Related > Devious Fun > Memes. What type of blank Memes do you allow?
While there are many different types of Memes, we accept almost all types. Yet, we suggest that all deviants avoid creating/posting Memes that consist of inserting images that are copyrighted such as websites, games, television shows, etc. We follow dA Regulation: FAQ #8: What are violations of the DeviantArt copyright policy? I don't know what folder to submit my Meme into! Halp meh!
You can check the Gallery Folder Directory
to read about each folder and see which one looks right for your meme. Everything has a place. How do I do a Meme? How do I fill one out!? Do I need a computer drawing program? Can it be done traditionally?
Most Memes are done digitally on computer by answering the question(s) that it asks. Some Memes are based on a specific subject(s). Deviants without a computer or a drawing program (Photoshop, Corel Painter, etc.) draw out the pictures then scan/photograph them and paste them onto the meme using MS Paint or other free art programs. To get a Meme onto one piece of paper might make it smaller. Try doing it in parts. As long as you some kind of digital art program, you should be good. I'm getting WAY TOO MUCH deviations from the group!! Can you do something about it!?
Only YOU can solve that issue. We do try our best to avoid posting too much deviations but there are some days where it cannot be avoided. We apologize. To stop receiving deviations from the group, simply go to your Friends
>> Manage Friends
>> search for Meme-Station
>> Uncheck Deviations
. You guys actually commented on my meme?!
Yes. Sometimes, depending on the meme, we will comment on it, praising your memes or usually making suggestions. We suggest things such as making the template larger, changing font/color so its readable, add directions, and much much more. Please do not feel offended and think we are signaling you out. We are not. We only hope that the minor changes would make the meme much more fun and comfortable for deviants to do. I accidentally placed a meme in the wrong category. What should I do?
You can still "Withdraw" your Meme by accessing your Correspondence Messages and then submitting it in the correct category folder. If we get to your meme beforehand, we would usually "Decline" and then "Request" it back into its rightful place. If this mistake occurs frequently by the same deviant(s), we'll assume you are lazy and just Decline it altogether. What about filled memes?Do you accept those? How about making a folder for that?
We do not accept filled/completed memes. Handling blank memes is already alot of work, plus the goal of this group is to be directory for blank memes. Submit all your awesome filled memes to our wife group MEME-Love
